FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – In time for the start of a new school year, Berger Commercial Realty Corp., a full service commercial real estate firm based in Fort Lauderdale, recently donated backpacks and school supplies to the Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center (CDTC), which annually serves more than 10,000 children with special health care needs in Broward County.
The donation will help more than 50 in-need pediatric patients. Backpacks contained pencils, pens, a notebook, ruler, composition book, glue sticks, scissors, crayons, markers, colored pencils, notebook paper, five-pocket folders, erasers, highlighters, and a pencil case.
“We are so glad that we had the opportunity to provide in-need students in our community with the essential supplies they need for a successful school year,” said Lloyd Berger, president of Berger Commercial Realty Corp. “Our employees eagerly donated to this worthy cause, making it a true team effort.”
“We truly appreciate Berger Commercial Realty Corp. and its dedication to our children and families, all of whom are facing challenging health issues,” said Ana Calderon, Ph.D., assistant administrator of CDTC. “We have a long history with the firm and are grateful for all the support they have given us throughout the years.”
