Berger Commercial Realty Adds Senior Property Manager and Property Controller

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (April 26, 2015) – Berger Commercial Realty, a regional, full service commercial real estate firm, has announced that Patricia Cartagena and Raquel Monge have joined the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office as a property controller and senior property manager respectively.

 Patricia Cartagena

Cartagena joins Berger Commercial Realty from Williams Island POA in Aventura, where she was a senior accounting manager. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, Cartagena has 12 years of experience in financial management for commercial real estate firms and luxury recreational facilities. Her responsibilities include managing accounts receivable and accounts payable, administering payroll, preparing financial statements and documents, and supervising additional financial tasks. Cartagena graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor’s degree in international business administration and finance.

 Raquel Monge

With more than 10 years of experience in managing and operating commercial properties, Monge joins the firm from PS Business Parks in Miami, where she functioned as a senior property manager and oversaw the operations of 4.1 million square-feet of space. Her areas of expertise include general management, customer support, expense control, revenue maximization, and project management. In her new position, Monge will manage the operations of office and industrial space throughout Broward County. Monge graduated from Rollins College in Winter Park with a Bachelor’s degree in international affairs and economics. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
